On September 23rd, Ankita shared a funny throwback picture on her Instagram account. The picture she shared shows her husband, Karan Patel, carrying her up for a photo while she attempts to smile for it. But she looks uncomfortable because of how she has to balance for the photo. She wrote in her caption, saying, “Who lifts up someone like this for a picture ya?!?!” and tagged her hubby. Her caption also noted that it was a throwback picture to back when they could travel.
Ankita and her husband Karan had an arranged marriage, and their story is worth being told in this day and age when it is considered outdated and “not so cool”. They found love in each other after marriage and broke all myths about how arranged marriages cannot have love. They tied the knot in May 2015, and they seem happy and in love ever since. It’s been a great journey for the lovely couple, and a lot of people assume that they had a love marriage because of how compatible they are. After four years of a happy marriage, the couple was blessed with their first child in December 2019 and named her Mehr Patel.

Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava are both Indian television stars, but they never shared a screen. Their first meeting was somewhat awkward.
