Take Time To Get Ready For The Camera
By the time a woman delivers her baby, she might become quite used to all the blood and fluid around her. So, if her baby were to get clicked covered in blood and amniotic fluid, in all probability she might not even object to it. However, that’s something your friends or family members might not be prepared for when they see your baby’s first pic. In fact, it might gross them out. Wait for the nurses to cleanse your baby out while you settle yourself before you are ready to pose.

Skim Through Your Contact List Before You Share It
One of the fastest ways to announce your newborn’s arrival is through social media. Be it your Instagram account or Facebook, all your friends and family members will get the news in a jiffy. However, the internet can also be an unsafe place. And, there could also be someone in your contact list who you wouldn’t wish to share the news with. So, before you put up the picture for everyone to see, just skim through the contact list. Remove or block any of the contacts you do not wish to share this piece of news with. Only then go ahead and post it.
Do It Before Your Visitors
Sometimes visitors steal your thunder, either deliberately or unintentionally, by capturing your baby’s first photo and then sharing it with the rest of your gang. This can upset the parents as well. While this is a sad practice, unfortunately not many visitors understand this. To handle this situation, make some ground rules for your visitors even before the baby is born. You can also try taking the hospital staff into confidence and ask your visitors to leave their phones at the reception before entering the ward to see your baby. Once you’ve set the rules, do not delay sharing the pics with your family and friends as they are as eager to see your baby.
