We’ve all heard of the stigma and snide comments made about women who choose to have children in their mid 30’s. For the longest time women after 30 had problems and a lower chance of conceiving. And once they did it was deemed a high risk pregnancy. But with the advancement of technology and modern medicine which allows women the freedom to choose when and how they want to have their baby, we think it’s time we left the stigma in the past. And a long list of celebrities agree with us! Children are a huge responsibility and we understand why you’d want to make sure you’re absolutely ready for all the changes coming your way.
Here are 7 strong, successful women who waited until they were well into their 30’s to have a baby, and don’t regret it one bit:

Rachel McAdems, Hollywood’s sweetheart and our favorite “mean girl” is most known for her famous onscreen performance in The Notebook and Red Eye. She has had her fair share of big public romances but nowadays she prefers to have a quiet, low-key life with her partner Jamie Linden who is a scriptwriter. The couple welcomed their first baby in 2018 when McAdams was 38. There has also been speculation about a second child in 2020 but neither party has made any comment on this matter.

This actress has played starring roles in many big on screen successes and took her time settling down to be a family woman. She had her first child in 2018 and welcomed her second baby just last year, in the spring of 2021 when she was 39 years old. Kirsten wanted to make sure she was ready to take a step back from the limelight and focus on family instead.
