We have all done some strange things as kids which we would rather not talk about. At times, the things we end up doing are just because we were too young and naive to even understand the depth of our calamity. But looking back, most of us would be like, “Jeez, was I not in my right mind?”
Kids are innocent and stupid and so were we. And there’s no need to feel guilty over something you did 30 years ago.

1. Dragged A Cat By Its Tail

‘I had come to visit my native place Kerala from abroad. And being a child who never had any pets growing up, I was intrigued to find my grandma’s cat. And the little devil in me decided that it would be fun to pull the furry thing by its tail and drag it across. The result as you could imagine was not so great. I ended up getting scratched on my legs and am still terrified of cats to date.’ – Sana
2. Made Cakes With Our Pee

‘My friend and I loved making mud cakes. Now before you start fancying mud pies, I want to clarify that we made it using actual mud and water. We would collect water from the tap in our backyard and mold a cake out of the mud. We would always take turns to collect the water and would sometimes fight over whose turn it is to go next. However, we were able to come up with a brilliant plan! We started using our own pee for our cakes and were feeling pretty good about our clever idea. This went on for a while.’ – Keerthana
3. Some Tongue To Tongue Action
‘As weird as it sounds, my sister and I used to play a game when we were around 5 or 6 years old. We would bring out our tongues and make the tips (of our tongues) touch with each other. I don’t know how or why we started it or if we probably got intrigued by watching something on TV. But as we grew up this habit of ours also faded. We still occasionally mention this and taunt each other.’ – Riya
4. I Killed A Mongoose
‘We had a lot of mongoose near my place and I was never a fan of those creatures. They would dig up holes near our fence and it was a great nuisance for everyone including our neighbors. One fine day when I was playing outside my house, I saw a pack of mongoose walking. Instantly I picked up a big stone and threw it at them. It hit the pup hard and the little one immediately fell and died. In my mind, I felt like I did the right thing by killing them. But looking back I realize what a stupid move that was and I couldn’t help but repent over it whenever I think about that day.’ – Vishal
5. Waxing!
‘I would hear about girls waxing at school and wanted to try it out for myself. I was in my 6th or 7th grade but had no clue how waxing works. I asked my sister about it and she said she would do the honors as it was my first time with hair removal. My sister then lit a candle and asked me to stretch out my legs. She then waited for the candle to melt and poured the wax over my legs. Needless to say, it hurt like hell and my hair was intact.’ – Nivya
